The Guildmark is a groundbreaking scheme between The Guild of Architectural Ironmongers and RIBA. For Architectural ironmongers to be awarded the Guildmark Accreditation, they have to meet the requirments below, providing architects and specifiers the assurance that a qualified, experienced professional has worked on their ironmongery schedule, within a company which takes quality and risk management seriously.
To become a member of the Guildmark scheme a company must:
Have at least one fully qualified Registered Architectural Ironmonger on its payroll.
Demonstrate appropriate QA systems.
Hold full professional indemnity insurance.
Fully comply with the Guildmark Code of Practice.
