The 41051 is one of the four models designed by Designer Johannes Potente which became part of the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York.
The 41051 lever handle has come to epitomise FSB. It was know as the 'Schneider handle' virtually from its conception in the mid fifties. We can only surmise as to why this model was such a success for Johannes Potente in the fifties (as it still is). Maybe it's because of the smooth design, and the harmonious interplay between an unerring rectilinearly and the calculated triangular design motif towards the neck.
