National Assembly for Wales
The National Assembly for Wales is a truly unique public building that the clint wished to be an example of sustainable and environmental design, allowing the parliamentary process to be transparent and accessible. Much of the Assembly is open to the public, including viweing galleries to the Debating Chamber and Committee Rooms.
The Architect believed that the ironmongery strategy should be consistent across the different sub-contractor packages and that durability should be paramount as the building has a design life of over 100 years. The quality of Allgood's products was what was called for and we supplied d line and Allgood hardware items to the whole building.
