Enric Miralles Benedetta Tagliabue in a unique partnership with RMJM were selected as the designers for the new Scottish Parliament.
The new complex of buildings are situated within the new landscaped public gardens adjacent to Holyrood Palace at the east end of the Royal Mile in Edinburgh's Old Town.
The Stirling Prize winning building comprises a series of oval shaped volumes containing committee and meeting rooms, ministerial offices and support functions, a press building and the debating chamber. The oval debating chamber has a press and public gallery at each side.
