Wimbledon Centre Court
Wimbledon is one of the worlds most intriguing sports arenas, holding the most prestigious tournament tennis has to offer. All too often play at Wimbledon has been dictated by Britain's unpredictable weather. To accommodate for this, the centre court has installed a new hydraulically operated roof to ensure play can be continued. The translucent construction allows natural light to reach the grass for optimum growing conditions. A new airflow system removes condensation from inside the arena providing a comfortable environment for both players and spectators when the roof is closed.
