Four Seasons, Baku
The Four Seasons Hotel situated in the heart of Baku, is a magnificently classical building clad in cream–toned limestone from the local mountains, topped by a fabulous pre–patinated copper roof. Classically inspired yet fresh and high-tech, the Four Seasons is among the city’s most luxurious hotels.
The brief for the project was to provide aspirational interiors to impress visitors to the hotel. Working closely with both the architect Reardon Smith, and the interior designer Richmond International, Allgood created a unique package of ironmongery specifications that were up to the challenge.
Different areas of the hotel required differing aesthetics. In public areas bespoke pull handles were made to create a grand impression whilst being complimented with a matching specification of hardware items.
In the guestrooms, a more modern look was required so Allgood provided a full specification of items in a consistent matt nickel finish. The spa and pool areas again required something different so a bespoke range of furniture was manufactured from Grade 316 stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance. Finally, in back of house areas, a comprehensive satin stainless steel specification was provided.
With such a vast project with so many different packages, it was important to efficiently manage the supply of ironmongery. Allgood co-ordinated the entire project with the project manager, hotel operator, general contractor and the various sub contractors to ensure the hardware packages ran smoothly.
In addition to the hardware, Allgood scheduled and supplied most of the electrical hardware to compliment the on-line access control system as well as the automatic door operators which Allgood Trio were commissioned to install and commission.
