Leading British ironmonger, Allgood, has launched a brand-new range of solid cast brass levers and pull handles. Offering classic style with contemporary performance, Continental is an all-new collection of solid cast brass ironmongery evoking a bygone era. Comprising seven timeless designs of levers and pull handles, all made in Britain exclusively for Allgood, the range explores new ideas by returning to classic materials.
Inspired by the architectural icons of the Art Deco period, Continental reflects the recent renaissance in the brass aesthetic with elegant styling and modern durability. The entire range is available in seven opulent finishes including living bronze and brass.
The all-original designs are produced in the finest machining quality solid brass with a closer grain to deliver a superior finish. With every lever mounted on Allgood’s patented Quadaxial™ rose that has been tested to over a million cycles, Continental offers enduring style and reassuring performance.
Alistair Higgins, Chief Executive of Allgood commented; “Brass is firmly back in vogue with high demand from architects and interior designers in this classic material. Continental exudes Art Deco style and detail whilst benefitting from modern manufacturing techniques to offer a fully coordinated and certified range. With the whole collection available in a stunning selection of living finishes, Continental looks beautiful and is built to last.”
Curated exclusively for the Continental collection, Spectra Living is a choice of beautiful living finishes designed to age gracefully. Bringing new dimensions to the solid brass range with matt, lacquered, waxed and oil rubbed hand-finished patinas, each only grows more stunning over time as daily use brings out subtle tones of brass and bronze to perfectly complement the timeless designs.
Two new Spectra Tone options for the Continental range; pearl lustre or hand polished nickel. When applied to brass these two finishes offer a luxurious warmth with hints of brass or a high shine with a reassuring depth.
