Latest statement from Allgood plc on COVID 19

Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on the 23rd of March, Allgood has decided to require all remaining office and field-based staff to work from home where possible with effect from Wednesday the 25th of March. This has now been implemented. 

As announced on the 19th of March, we had already moved all our London staff to home working, and have now completed this for our office and field-based staff working from Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow as well. 

We would like to reassure customers and suppliers that communication with us can continue almost as usual, except of course for face-to-face meetings. Our cloud-enabled email, business systems and telephone systems mean that continuing communications and execution of business transactions continues uninterrupted. Our direct-dial-in (DDI) telephone numbers still work, allowing all our partners to talk directly to the expected Allgood team member even if they are now working from home. 

Confirmation statements were made from both the government and Build UK on the 24th March. These said work on construction sites should continue where safe to do so  – as outlined in latest industry guidance on site operations. This suggests that building activity will carry on  

At the time of writing, almost all our customers want us to deliver their orders and therefore – consistent with UK government guidance whilst protecting the safety of our staff – our manufacturing and warehousing activities will operate as normal. Our supply chain also continues to function, so that delivery lead times remain unchanged at present, but we will inform all partners promptly should this alter.
